day fifteen!
Guess what? I met TWO people today!
And didn't get a picture with either of them....
*facepalm*
I'm not very good at drawing stick figures, so I hope that this whole 'not having real pictures' thing doesn't last long. At this point I have resorted to clipart... ha
To be quite honest, I had every intention of getting a picture with them
I wish you could see Victoria and Nameless Man At The Gym, but by the time we were all finished with our workouts, I completely forgot to find them again and take pictures.
For a few months now Nameless Man At The Gym has been talking to me. He has been very kind, interacting with me, complimenting my form, and asking me where I'm going to school... things of that sort. Yet, I have never learned his name!
When he found out that I am a dancer, her asked me if I was studying dance anywhere. While it is a little bit of a stretch, seeing as I'm only contemplating a minor in dance, I told him Ohio State.
He was pretty impressed! He then proceeded to tell me that there was a member of the gym, Victoria, whose daughter studied at Julia rd and is currently living and dancing in Germany! He insisted that I meet her the next time we were both at the gym.
Well, that day was today!
While I was walking the track as part of my warm-up, he hopped right on over and told me that I just HAD to meet Victoria... I normally get kind of annoyed when people try to talk to me while I'm working out, but seeing as this was the opportunity he had been waiting for, I decided to humor him.
So, I met Victoria.
She was very kind and said that we should exchange emails so that I can ask her daughter any questions I may have about dance. She was so kind that I didn't have the heart to tell her that I don't plan to dance professionally.
Either way, I met them both and it was great. The people at the gym are always so kind and open, so it was great to meet one more smiling face.
Victoria's fun fact: she has an eastern European accent, but I did not ask where she is from
Nameless Man At The Gym's fun fact: he loves to ride bikes (as in bicycles... not motorcycles haha)
Thanks for reading.... and hopefully appreciating my stick figures ;)
Until tomorrow
