day twenty!
HEADING OUT WITH A BANG!
Well, today is not the last day of my challenge, BUT it is my last day at home!
I decided that after yesterday's awkward post and the lack of new people on other days in the past, I needed to really knock today out of the park! I finally introduced myself to some of the people who work at the front desk at the gym, and it was probably one of the best experiences I have had throughout the entire challenge :)
After my workout, I met Ashlee, Sam, and Kim.
Ashlee is the one in the blue polo. She was extremely, extremely sweet and talked to me a lot about expanding my horizons at college and meeting new people. Her college experience transformed her into a more outgoing person, which gives me hope that I, too, will be able to make a home for myself when I leave.
Fun fact: she has been to Haiti for three missions trips
Sam has been to San Francisco five times in the past year!
Kim is the youngest of seven children... she has two brothers and four sisters!
It was such a great last-day-at-home experience to finally really meet them. Each of them had a tip for me about putting myself out there and meeting new people. Their reminders are giving me the extra pump to embrace this new experience!
Thank you, ladies!!
And thanks for reading :)
Until tomorrow
