day seventeen!
Joyful, joyful Laurie!
Today was utterly fantastic!
I met Laurie today in the locker room, and she was such a kind and wonderful woman. I am so glad to have met her.. sincerely!
When I first said hello to her, she was so super excited about participating in my challenge! It makes the encounter so much easier when people show interest in what I'm doing, and makes the selfie much less awkward...She was curious about the idea and really loved it all. She was also proud of me for coming up with the idea and for deciding to challenge myself!
I asked her for a fun fact, of course, and she proceeded to tell me that she loves to have fun... and that she had so much fun at OSU when she was a student there! Laurie also loves to swim. It is her favorite hobby!
She had me smiling and laughing... and we even chatted for about five minutes. I hope to see her again before I leave so that I can give her the address for my site (HI!) and maybe even exchange information. I had that good of a time talking with her!
Thank you for brightening my day, Laurie!
If I don't see you before I leave, I would love to see you when I come home for breaks. We will talk about how much super-awesome fun I'm having, and re-live your college years, too :)
Thanks to YOU, also, for reading!
Until tomorrow
