day sixteen!
You know what? Today... I didn't meet anyone.
I have no excuse! Well... I mean, I have some excuses....
Business, laziness, stress...
But all of them are kind of dumb.
Don't get me wrong! Today was just like every other day of this challenge. I prepared myself mentally to go up to someone new and introduce myself, take a picture, get a fun fact, and move on with my life...
But things got in the way!
Today I started packing for college. You know what that meant for me? A flood of emotions... and a lot of clutter. It was really, really mentally draining to look at everything all piled up, placed away for when I will need to take it out again. In a new place. Surrounded by strangers. In a new environment.
Unfamiliar territory... stress...
Yeah.
So as I headed out into the world today I was a little drained!
I did talk to and smile at people, and even made small talk with the ladies at the front desk at the gym, but I just didn't have it in me to talk about or participate in my challenge.
It's called a challenge for a reason, right?
Well today I didn't step up to it, and I have decided to reflect on what the challenge has taught me over the past two weeks or so. If you would like to read it, please head over to the blog tab!
I know this seems like such a sad post, but in truth the post is very uplifting, and talks about how I have begun to see the world in a whole new way.
SO. If you please, head over to the blog and read it.
I'd hate to put a damper on this otherwise chipper day :)
Thanks for reading
Until tomorrow!
